The last day of 2007

I can't believe that another year has gone. Routines haven't changed much but I know I've changed. But I'd be hard pressed to say how I've changed.

One of the highlights of this year was I got to meet and get a hug and a kiss from Jann Arden. She is one of my favourite singers. That was a huge treat for me even if I was awestruck and couldn't put two sensible words together in her presence!
The next performer on my wish list is kd lang. :-))

I have a fairly stable job with people I like and that's a very big deal. It's a rarity.

We have a new addition to the family. He's a black golden doodle. His mother is a golden retriever and his father is a standard poodle. He's inherited his father's size and he's pretty big at nine months. Who knew the runt of the litter would grow so well??!! Parker is a joy and a treasure. The cats like him and that's a pretty good endorsement.

I have friends I like and who like me. I have a spouse who loves me. What more could anyone want?

I know: winning a lottery would be a nice touch.

I don't know if I'm ready for 2008. Now that's a no brainer, even for me. Like there's a choice...
I'm trying to keep a very open mind and embrace whatever comes with the new year.
